How long will my session be?
Portrait sessions generally last from an hour to two hours. Mini sessions may be a little less. I like to stay as long as it takes to give you a proper size gallery.
When is the best time to schedule my session?
Have you ever heard of "Golden Hour"? It's my favorite time of day. It's that time of day where everything looks like a masterpiece. Sessions are scheduled during this time. Golden hour is about one hour after sun rise and one hour before sunset.
What should I wear?
Try to avoid busy clothes. Things with logos, crazy patterns, and neon colors tend to take the attention off of you in portraits, and we don't want that. If you're taking portraits with other people, such as engagements and families, try to wear clothes that compliment each other. A wise man once told me "you can never be too dressed up." So don't be afraid to get fancy. If you need some inspiration check out our Pinterest.
When will I receive my images?
For general portrait sessions you will receive your images within three weeks. For large families or more complicated editing, it may take a little longer. For weddings, the turn around time is 90 days.
Can you make my photos reflect who I am?
The main goal in photographing you is capturing who you are. There will be a short questionnaire sent to you before your session to get to know you a little bit better. That being said, I also have my own artistic style to my images. All post processing is to my discretion so I encourage you to check out the galleries to see if our styles complement each other.
Can I give you a list of specific shots we would like?
Yes but you have to be able to trust your photographer, that they know what they are doing and what poses look great on you. That being said, you have been pinning photo inspiration for some time. Anything I do will be different because of my own artistic style but I love that you are being inspired by other photographers work and I would love to see your ideas.
How do I order prints?
When your images are ready you will be sent a link to your online gallery. From there you can select the images you would like printed and the sizes you'd like. They are sent to the professional print lab, checked for quality, and then sent to you. These prints are top quality and you will be impressed.
Can I print my own images?
Image flash drives of your session are for sale a la carte. These come with a print release. It is strongly encouraged to print through me for quality but I totally understand if you want to handle it yourself.
Do I receive all of the images you take?
I decide what is worthy to make it to the final batch and what isn't. Funny outtakes will definitely be included just to make you laugh. The RAW version of images are not for sale. You will receive high resolution JPEGS.
How much will you edit my images?
I color correct to fit my style and do minor retouching on faces. If you would like extra editing on your images, prices vary depending on the extent of work needed. We can discuss what that looks like for your session.
Do you take black and white images or just color?
Most images are in color but some are in black and white. Some photographs just look way better in black and white but you'll receive the color version of that image as well.
Where are you located and where do you travel?
I am located in Clermont, Florida and travel anywhere. There is a small travel fee of $.50/mile for anything outside of a three hour drive. Fees for traveling outside of the state of Florida is on a per case base and should be mentioned in your inquiry.
How much time should we set aside for photos on my wedding day?
I love to shoot and will take as much time as you have! That being said I ask for at least an hour to get all your family and wedding party photos finished. I work swiftly to capture your day because I know that you are eager to party, but it's these photos you will cherish the most. 1.5 hours is ideal so that we don't have to rush as much and can make sure we get everything we need.
How long have you been shooting weddings?
I shot my first wedding in 2012 and have shot almost twenty weddings since then. Some assisting but mostly as the lead photographer. There is a distinct flow of weddings but I still love how every wedding is so different.
Do you do destination weddings?
YES! I LOVE to travel. I have booked weddings across the country and even one in Germany. There is a fee for travel but its mostly just the cost of the ticket and board because new places are wonderful.
